Outgoing and grounded in outdoor, high-expectation environments, ʻEhu brings a holistic presence, strong communication, and uplifting energy to programs and community spaces. A Native Hawaiian born and raised on Molokaʻi, she is deeply ambitious in ʻike Hawaiʻi, community connection, and aloha ʻāina, which guides her leadership, mentoring, and support of others.
As a former NCAA Division I student-athlete and captain, she uses her work in recreation, coaching, and student development to help individuals and teams navigate change, build confidence, and grow through shared experience—both in structured programs and outdoor settings. She has a Masterʻs of Science in Sport & Recreation Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation and Tourism Management with minors in Sports Management. ʻEhu is our session leader and coaches our volunteer mentors throughout each cohort.
When sheʻs not working with our students or coordinating student recreation programs at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, you’ll likely find ʻEhu enjoying the beach, in and out of the water, and participating in cultural practices with her ʻohana.
