Ed Haik has more than 30 years of experience in the investment industry. He spent over 25 years with Bank of Hawai‘i’s investment trust division before retiring and is now a Principal with Mercer. His earlier career included roles at Garban Tokyo, Ltd., Cantor Fitzgerald Securities, and Merrill Lynch. Ed earned his BA from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.

He joined Surfrider Spirit Sessions in 2009 as a volunteer mentor and became a member of the Board of Directors in 2014. Ed is grateful for every opportunity to share the stoke of surfing and to support students, junior mentors, mentors, and sponsors through the program.
